The president and his delegation were escorted to a palace intended for international presidents visiting Djibouti. After a short break, the President of Somaliland, Mr. Muse Bihi Abdi, came to greet the President of the Republic of Djibouti, Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh, with the two presidents there. took a short time.
After that, the President of the Republic of Somaliland and his delegation were received at the Presidential Palace of Djibouti, directly participating in the scheduled meeting of the presidents of the countries of Somaliland, Djibouti and Somalia.
The purpose of the tripartite meeting was to resume the stalled talks between the two countries of the Republic of Somaliland and Somalia, which started in 2012, and resumed today, and the meetings are still ongoing.
