The Director of Burco General Hospital, Dr. Abokor Weli Bigile, today welcomed a high-level delegation from Taiwan to his office, whose purpose was to assess the needs of the Emergency Departments (ICU) and Surgery (OT).
During the meeting, the Director provided the delegation with a general overview of the hospital’s situation, discussing in depth the needs and capabilities of these important departments.
This visit is part of the Public Health Emergency Response Enhancement project, supported by the Government of Taiwan through the Ministry of Health Development of Somaliland, to improve emergency health services in the country.
