Somaliland Rebuffs Qatar’s Call For New Talks With Somalia & The Rejection of Israeli Ties.
Hargeisa,(Qaran news)- According to reliable sources, a high level delegation from the State of Qatar recently visited Hargeysa with the intention of persuading the Somaliland authorities to restart new talks with Somalia and to renege on its diplomatic ties with Israel.
According to these reliable sources, both requests were rebuffed by the Somaliland President, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi “Irro”.
The sources confirm that Somaliland sees no benefits in restarting new talks with Somalia after previous engagements in Turkey and Djibouti did not bring forth any concrete results.
Regarding Somaliland ties diplomatic with Israel, the first Nation to recognize the restoration of sovereignty on the 26th of December, 2025, the issue is not open for discussion.
Somaliland remains firmly and perpetually committed to its relationship with Israel.
