Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Somalia Says MoU with Somaliland Benefits Everyone

The Ethiopian Ambassador to Somalia has once again defended the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with Somaliland on January 1, 2024.
On Saturday, Ambassador Muktar Mohamed Ware said that the MoU is beneficial to all parties.
In an interview with Ethiopian News Agency (ENA), the Ambassador stated that the MoU was established on the basis of a win-win principle for everyone.
The Ambassador added that everyone stands to benefit from the agreement.
“Ethiopia’s MoU with Somaliland was not meant to harm anyone but to help us all develop together,” said Ambassador Ware in his interview
