One fruit you may never have tried is said to be the healthiest of them all – known for being rich in vitamins, anti-oxidants and fibre, and it’s got a “nutritional score” of 96 out of 100, according to the BBC
Fruit is a great breakfast, snack or dessert option, packed with vitamins, fibre, and numerous other beneficial nutrients for our overall health. When considering the healthiest fruit, some might suggest oranges due to their high vitamin content, or pomegranates for their antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits.
Surprisingly, topping the BBC’s list of the “world’s most nutritious foods” with an impressive “nutritional score” of 96 out of 100 is a fruit that many might not guess. It ranks as the top fruit in this list and is placed second overall, just behind what is referred to as “the world’s healthiest snack” scoring 97.
