The Somaliland President, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi and his high level delegation currently visiting the United States of America have met with the senior Senator from Texas, Ted Cruz.
Senator Cruz who has been a long time advocate for Somaliland’s recognition received the President at the Senate in Washington DC.
The President and Senator Cruz discussed the situation in the Red Sea, the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, and the role Somaliland can play in terms of security, logistics and economic development.
The meeting is a prelude to an in-depth discussions between Somaliland and the United States of America.
