I deeply respect and appreciate the people of Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Taiwan. Your friendship, engagement, and willingness to work with Somaliland are deeply valued by many Somalilanders.
To the people of Israel, the UAE, and Taiwan: you are our friends, and we welcome you with respect and appreciation. May our relationships continue to grow through cooperation, trade, investment, technology, development, and mutual respect.
Somaliland is a peaceful society with its own people, institutions, territory, and aspirations. We believe that our people have the right to determine their own political future and to choose the international partners with whom we wish to build relationships.
I strongly reject any government or political force that attempts to deny Somaliland this right or interfere with the relationships Somaliland chooses to establish—particularly the policies of the Government of Somalia and the Government of Turkey.
Our message is simple:
We choose friendship, not hostility.
We choose cooperation, not confrontation.
We choose peace, not war.
And we will continue to stand for Somaliland’s sovereignty, dignity, and future.
