The President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi has met with members of the the Somaliland community in North America.
The President, speaking to a large gathering on Saturday night, urged the community to remain united, vigilant and dedicated to the Somaliland cause.
The President and the accompanying senior delegation, which included, the Speaker of the Parliament, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Trade and Commerce, gave a detailed account of their talks with members of both chambers of US Congress, senior officials from the administration, think-tanks and influential figures from the business community.
The meeting which was moderated by the Somaliland Representative in the United States of America, had attendees from as far as Minneapolis, Toronto and Ottawa.
