The Director General of the Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama, accompanied by a high-level delegation, has undertaken an official working visit to the Ministry of Health of Taiwan aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health sector.
During the visit, the Somaliland delegation held a series of meetings with senior officials and leadership of Taiwanβs Ministry of Health, where discussions focused on expanding collaboration and enhancing healthcare services through closer institutional partnerships.
The Director General and his delegation presented Somalilandβs health sector priorities, ongoing reforms, and strategic plans for improving healthcare delivery across the country. They also highlighted the Ministryβs key development needs and outlined initiatives designed to strengthen the quality and accessibility of health services.
The visit forms part of the Somaliland Ministry of Health Developmentβs broader efforts to deepen international cooperation, promote the exchange of expertise, and secure technical support to advance the development of the national healthcare system.
